Quail eggs
Regardless of their size, small and speckled quail eggs are a powerful elixir of health. For centuries, eastern culture has been talking about the beneficial properties of Japanese quail eggs, and since the whole world discovered their benefits, many studies have been conducted that clearly show that we should include them in our diet.
What makes them so special?
A quail egg replaces 5 chickens.
Compared to a chicken egg, quail egg contains about five times more phosphorus, about seven times more iron and about ten times more vitamin B complex. It also contains a significant dose of vitamins A, C, D and E, zinc and important amino acids, and all this nutrition is “packed” with only 15.8 calories.
Powerful and rich quail eggs are extremely healthy.
They are very beneficial for the human body and health, especially for the nervous system, heart, blood vessels, liver, kidneys and metabolism in general. They help small children, young people in development, people in the recovery phase, as well as elderly people in order to slow down the aging of cells, but they are also used as an auxiliary tool in the treatment of various diseases and ailments.

In order to be medicinal, they need to be consumed, but also stored in a certain way.
Quail eggs are consumed raw, and only fertilized eggs have medicinal effects. In addition, it is important that the quails are raised in an adequate way and fed with quality. The expiration date of raw eggs is 30 days, but even after that period they can be eaten fried or boiled. They should be stored at room temperature from 5 to 25 °C, and the advice is to put them in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes and set the temperature to about 3 °C before consumption.
The exact daily and total intake amounts depend on the health problem and age.
The therapy involves a certain period of time in which the user should drink from 120 to 1080 eggs, usually in a period of 49 days. Adults take 3 eggs everyday for the first 3 days, and then 5 eggs a day until the end of the therapy, while the amount for children is determined according to age.
- For children up to 1 year old – only thermally processed eggs (1-2 per day)
- Children up to 3 years old – 2 eggs a day
- Children from 3 to 5 years old – 3 eggs a day
- Children from 5 to 10 years old – 4 eggs per day
- For children aged 10 years and older – multiple dosing as for adults
After completing the therapy, it is advisable to take a break of 2-3 months and repeat the therapy during one calendar year, but the interval should not be longer than 6 months.
The entire daily dose is consumed at once, in the morning on an empty stomach, half an hour before meals. You can pound them with a mixer, add various ingredients and thus enhance the taste.
It is important to be careful as there are certain restrictions.
Diabetics must be careful about adding honey or sugar to quail eggs.
Precautions are also advised for people who have sensitive bile. For them, it is recommended to start therapy with 1 egg a day, and the daily dose is 3-4 eggs a day. If this dose is not suitable, the therapy is stopped.
Egg therapy can also be used with medication, except when it is forbidden to take egg whites with prescribed medication.
Quail eggs are safe for pregnant women.
Alcohol should not be consumed during therapy.

How to make raw quail egg tastier?

To harness its "magic," very healthy and nutritious quail eggs should be consumed raw.
You can read more about their medicinal properties, storage, and usage on the "quail eggs" page, and we offer you a few tastier meal options with this ingredient.
If you find a raw egg a bit "slimy," it's best to beat it first with a fork, as if you were planning to make an omelet, and then drink this homogeneous mixture in a few sips. This "purest" option is also the most recommended.
Many people mix the egg with a little honey or sugar, creating a mixture similar to cake batter.
If you're a fan of dairy beverages, like frappes, you can blend quail eggs, a teaspoon of honey, and two deciliters of milk in a blender, enriching the taste with cinnamon.
Eggs can also be an ingredient in a refreshing smoothie or a vitamin bomb. Half a lemon, an orange, a whole kiwi, a tablespoon of milk, and a teaspoon of honey can be blended with eggs using a blender or mixer, creating a complete meal.
You can combine fruit with some other ingredients as well, so we recommend trying a combination with a glass of milk, a few teaspoons of honey to taste, and a banana.
All of these mixes, and perhaps some you'll discover on your own, should be consumed half an hour before breakfast.
